The students get ready for there circle time. At this time the students will, read the morning message, they will learn about the days of the week, months of the year and learn new sounds. Today, the students reviewed there sound "ea" and "oy." They gave me a list of words that make that sound. Next, the students work on a worksheet that helps them make up more words that have the sound "oy."
Moving on to our math time, the students are learning about measuring. Today, we talked about length. First, we went over our math words, next we worked in our math books (page 188). Lastly, the students worked together in groups, they were asked to make a graph and show me in order "shortest" to "tallest." I think they did a great job!
Moving on to our UOI time, the students and I are focusing on the season "Spring." First, I asked the students what are some of the signs that help us to know its spring time. Then we went over our season song. Lastly, the students worked an art lesson. They made bunny faces.

Please practice the song "It's a hard not life" by the movie Annie. We are getting ready for our school play.
