The students start off there day with circle time. They will read the morning message, learn about the months of the year, days of the week and learn new blends. Today, the students learned a new sound "oi." First, the students brain storm words that have that same sound. Next, we watched a short video on more words that also make that same sound. Lastly, the students were asked to write there "words of the week" four times each using there best penmanship.
Moving on to our math time, the students are still learning about measurements. Today the students worked in there math books on pages 189 and 190. We worked on these pages as a whole class.
Moving on to our UOI time, the students and I celebrated Earth Day! Today, the students worked on an art lesson where they had to decided what is good for the earth and what is not. They also watched a short video on the importance's on keeping the earth clean.
To end off our day the students enjoyed there French lesson and we also practiced our song for the spring play. Please come to our event, it will be a great time!

Tomorrow we will go on a nature walk to learn more about Spring.
