Welcome Back!!
The students start off there day by having there circle time. The students will learn about the months of the year, days of the week, seasons and the weather. The students will learn a new sound today. The new sound that they will learn is the sound "ea." First, the students brain storm words that also make that sound. Next, we watched a short video on more words that also make that sound. We end our phonics with writing our words of the week four times each. For the students who finished early they were able to play tick tack toe with a partner.
Moving onto our math time, we have finished the chapter on coins. I graded all of the math test and everyone did very well. Please check your child's planner for the grades. Today, I gave the students a pre assessment test on measurements. This test is mainly for the teachers, just so we can see who knows what and what we should be focusing on more in the class.
Moving onto our UOI time, we have finished up our unit with Community helpers we are now learning about the season Spring. Today we brain storm a list of many things that can happen during spring time. Next, we listened to the "Season song." This song teaches the students about all of the different seasons. Lastly, the students worked on a spring worksheet.
Towards the end of the day, the students enjoyed there French class and we had a another rehearsal for our spring play.

Wednesday is causal day
Thursday come dressed up in your pretty Easter colors. Please try your best to make it to our Wine and cheese social event. It will be a great time.
