The students start off there day by having circle time. Students will read the morning message, they will also learn about the months of the year, days of the week, seasons, weather and they will listen to a story. Students will review the blend "er." They will brain storm words that have that sound. After the video, the students wrote there words of the week 4 times each.
Moving onto our math: the students are still reviewing the worth of money. Today, the kids are still reviewing the worth of quarters. Next, the students completed a worksheet where they needed to count all of the coins in a row and write the correct amount. I am seeing process in every student.
Moving onto our UIO time: we learned about the community helper a chef yesterday. We are still reviewing this community helper. Today, the kids learned about recipes. Today's recipes was to make rice crispy squares. The students first watched a video exampling the different ingredients that belong in a rice crispy square. Then we made an art craft making a baker's hat. I also gave each student marshmallows to eat as they finish there art.
The students end off there day by having there french class and music class.

Today is the last day to pay for the up coming field trip. The cost for the trip is 40$.
Words of the week are due Friday.
Spelling Test in my class will be this Friday. (April 5th)
Spelling bee will be April 8th.
Summative project are due Thursday April 11th and 12. I will be helping the students with the written potion of this project. The students should be practicing there presentation at home.
