The students start off everyday by having circle time first. Students will read the morning message, they will learn about the months of the year, days of the week, seasons and learn about the weather. Today the students reviewed the blend "ay."They brain storm words that have the same sound as "ay." Next, they watch a short video of more words that make that same sound. Lastly, the students and I practice spelling our spelling words.
Moving onto math, the students are still learning about the worth of money. The students today will learn about the worth of a Toonie. They completed two worksheets. Tomorrow we will have more review on all of the coins that we learned so far.
Moving onto our UIO time, today we are starting our Summative project. The kids and I worked on writing sentences about our favorite community helper. They will finish the writing part tomorrow in class.
Reminders:
Words of the week are due tomorrow.
Spelling test is also tomorrow.
Summative project are due April 11th-12th.
