The students start there day with having circle time. During circle time the students will read the morning message, students will learn about the months of the year, days of the week and the seasons.
Today, the student reviewed the sound "ie." We watched a new video on more words that make that sound. We did our centres today.
The first centre included working with me on a phonics work sheet.
The next centre included working in there phonics note books and writing the sound "ie."
The last centre included the kids having free time and working on there blocks and Lego's.
Moving on to math time, the students are reviewing for there math test for tomorrow! I gave them a preview on what will be on the test for tomorrow.
Next, we played a math game where they needed to sort out the money and place it on the right price tag. They all did a great job! I am confident that each student will do well on there test!
Moving on to our UOI time, its summative presentation time! I have six students presenting today. Everyone look great and did an amazing job! Thank you to all of the parents who help out as well! For tomorrow, please make sure your child also has the written part of there project with them. I need the rubric to grade. Thank you.
The students end off there day by having there french class and we had our music class.
Reminders:
Words of the week are due tomorrow.
Math test on coins is tomorrow. I am sending home a math packet so they can do more practice at home.
Please review the song "It's a Hard Not Life." By the movie Annie. Whenever you have time. We are getting ready for our spring play.
