Students will read the morning message during there circle time, they will also learn about the months of the year, days of the week , weather and sight words. Today we reviewed the blend "ie." First, the students watched a short video on more words that also make that same sound.
Next, we brain storm words on the white board. Lastly, we played a fun game called "What makes that sound." I gave the students certain sounds that we already know, and I ask them to write down four words that make that same sound. The first team to get all four words right gets the point.
Moving on to our math, after lunch the students who return the field trip form and pay for the trip (40$) was able to leave after lunch for there trip! I hope everyone had a good time!
I am staying back to watch the kids who did not go on the trip. We did some math work in my class room. We finished two paper work sheets and we ended the lesson with a math game. I drew different types of coins on the board and the students needed to work together in order to come up with the final cost.
For our UOI time, we did more review for our math test coming up on Friday.
The students end off there day with having there french class and music class.
